Hearts for Elders began with a simple belief: that the people who built our communities deserve to grow older surrounded by warmth, dignity, and friendship. What started as a handful of friends visiting a local care home has grown into a dedicated network of volunteers across Illinois.
We spend afternoons sharing stories, playing cards, writing letters, and simply being present — because companionship is one of the most powerful gifts we can give. Every smile, every conversation, every visit reminds our seniors that they are seen, valued, and loved.
We're mainly focused in Naperville, but our hearts don't stop at city limits. If you're interested in hosting an event in your own community, please reach out — we're always happy to help coordinate and bring a Hearts for Elders event to your area.
